A Glance At Mariners Fans: Both Organically and Artificially.

Seattle Mariners fans to me are one of the most loyal fan bases in all of sports. I’m positive sure other fan bases would disagree with my statement, but I stand by what I said. With all the heart break and disappointment Mariners fans have been through – They still fill the seats at T-Mobile Park (For the most part) during the weekends, promo’s, and big games/series. I am going to share a few photos of Mariners fan that will show just that. Two photos will be of fans at the stadium, and the third will be an AI generated photo that I had created.

The first picture that I am sharing is from the playoff game that I attended back in October 2022. This is the first playoff game played in Seattle since 2001. As you can see the stands are still full, right? First pitch was at 12:05 and the game didn’t end for 7.5 hours! In the end the Mariners did lose and were eliminated from the playoffs this game, but this picture just goes to shows Mariners fans will stick it out to the very end.

In the picture above you see Mariners fans showing up to T-Mobile Park to watch the Mariners play… In Toronto! The Mariners organization opened up the stadium and sold tickets at a good price for fans to come out to the field, watch the game on the big screen in center field, and cheer on the Marines in their first playoff series on the road in Toronto.

And as promised. Here is the third image I had created with an AI on Canva. When typing in the box key words to create an image – I simply typed in “Typical Mariners Fan”, and this is what AI had generated for me. To be quite honest, it made me laugh. The Seattle Mariners historically have not been a very good franchise. This AI generated image just goes to show that Mariners fans have been through so much the last 47 years. I should also add that the Mariners are the only team in MLB history to never appear in the World Series.

In conclusion – The Mariners may have never won it all, or make blockbuster trades and free agent signings because ownership is cheap. But that doesn’t stop the fans from showing up and cheering on their Mariners. If you have ever asked yourself what a loyal sports fan looks like? Just simply take a look at the Seattle Mariners fan base.
